If you follow techies like Elon Musk, you've probably heard some "doom and gloom" concerning the "singularity." What is this? It's the afternoon when machine intellect overtakes human is overtaken by, and we get plugged into the matrix. First, there's a difference between "Machine Learning" and "Artificial Intelligence" that doesn't get talked about very much. Machine Learning tasks encompass basic design recognition. Some tasks exhibit a pattern which are detected {by fancy mathematics.

Artificial Intelligence is all about whether or not a machine may masquerade as a person. To be able to look like a human, a system should be able to learn a complex book like "Pride and Prejudice" and deliver a thoughtful book report on it.
